Great! Nice to see more stuff about the handsome Aichi E11A. I have this kit on the stash ince years ago, and this quarantine gives me the time to ponder finally building it. The interior is quite sparse though, woud it be anywhere any info on the innards of the Aichi Laura?
Tahnks in advance!
Hi Diego
I'm not aware of anything specific for the E11A but Model Art 565 'Imperial Japanese Navy Seaplanes' has schematics for the interior of the E10A1 which might serve as clues for dressing it up a bit. I don't know how accurate the Fujimi interior is with its three compartments and solid bulkheads separating pilot, observer and bow gunner. I would have expected something similar to the Walrus.
Regards
Nick
Nick,
Thanks so much for posting these, must pick some up.
Warren
Thanks Nick! Yes, I also suspected that the Walrus might be something much like it. Those sliding hatches on the Laura fuselage are something that I would have loved to display open if I had more knowledge on the interior details!!!
Thanks for keeping us updated on these, Nick.
